We have been delivering projects aimed at supporting young vulnerable people in the community since 1994. Presently we provide projects that involve working alongside young people and families, supporting them in times of need and empowering them to develop their social, personal and independent living skills. This enables individuals to grow in confidence and to take opportunities, and gives them a sense of belonging through both participating and contributing to their local community.

The work of the YMCA has been welcomed by other voluntary and statutory agencies as it attempts to compliment their work and meet identified gaps in local communiaaty service provision.

Mid Sussex YMCA is a Christian Charity. Our vision is for all young people to have a place where they belong, a voice that is listened to and opportunities to realise their full potential.

We will achieve this by delivering high quality services that empower individuals to grow in confidence and develop their social, personal and independent living skills by creating opportunities for them to participate in and contribute to their local community.
